As an approved U.S. FDA Study Center, the Maloney Vision Institute helps develop, test and establish surgical protocols for new, state-of-the-art vision improvement treatments.
Safety checks include double-checking eye measurements and calibrating equipment before each procedure. Now, the Maloney Vision Institute with Dr. Robert Maloney continues to advance the field of lasik surgery as a leading ophthalmologist in the U.S. conducting Lasik, Verisyse, Conductive Keratoplasty and VISX.
However, many recent medical advances, some pioneered right here with Dr. Robert Maloney, have made it achievable to correct problems that couldn't be fixed just a few years ago. This wavefront laser treatment allows us to correct minor imperfections unique to your vision, offering many patients better than 20/20 eye sight; so-called 'super vision.' Also, the conditions Dr. Robert K. Maloney is able to treat include nearsightedness (myopia), farsightedness (hyperopia) and astigmatism. Due to the fact that your eye sight and your eye care are as unique to you as your fingerprints and DNA, it is very difficult for us to know whether lasik surgery can benefit you without a personal examination.
