Better vision with lasik from Dr. Robert Maloney

With Maloney Lasik, a small layer of tissue is folded back from the surface of the cornea. After the Lasik surgery reshapes the cornea, the tissue is folded back into place, where it bonds rapidly. With Dr. Robert Maloney, we use an advanced, VISX S4 eye-tracking lasik laser-flying spot laser that produces an extremely smooth procedure. This three-minute lasik process requires no needles and no stitches. LASIK can be used to correct nearsightedness, farsightedness and astigmatism. Healing for most patients is so quick that vision can improve within hours of the procedure, and many of Dr. Maloney's patients return to work the next day.

With CustomVue™ or Dr. Maloney's Wavefront Guided laser vision correction, a most recent standard is established, providing a precise level of measurement and vision improvement never before possible. Dr. Robert Maloney's CustomVue™ allows us to measure these visual imperfections at 200 individual points.

Using Dr. Robert K. Maloney's WaveScan® based digital technology, originally intended for use in high-powered telescopes to influence distortions when viewing distant objects in space, we can now identify, measure and correct imperfections in an individual's eyes 25 times more precisely than with standard methods used for glasses and contact lenses. This information is transferred to the laser, providing a new level of precision and accuracy by Maloney Vision Institute.

Dr. Maloney can improve each of the 200 points individually to create a personalized vision correction that is ideal for you. This procedure can potentially provide better eyesight than you have ever experienced with glasses or contact lenses. If you have good distance vision and are tired of your reading glasses, Conductive Keratoplasty, or CK, may be perfect for you. Dr. Maloney utilizes localized radio-frequency energy to gently reshape the cornea.

This simple, non-laser procedure, requires no tissue removal. Conductive Keratoplasty can notably improve eyesight in patients who are good candidates for this procedure. People with extreme nearsightedness or farsightedness may not be suitable candidates for LASIK, but may benefit from a Verisyse lens, which is a special contact lens that is implanted behind the cornea.

Dr. Maloney is one of the top 10 lasik surgeons, as voted by his peers, and, Dr. Robert K. Maloney has performed more than 35,000 laser lasik surgeries and has trained more than 700 physicians in the use of the lasik laser. Dr. Robert Maloney was also awarded the prestigious Lans Award, for innovative contributions to the field of laser lasik eye correction.

"I'd been considering corrective vision surgery since I'd heard about the procedure, but of course, I was very nervous about it. I heard about Dr. Maloney from my agent, who had his vision corrected with great results. I got up my courage and scheduled an appointment. They were very patient and explained all my options. The procedure was painless and I can see so much clearer now. It's great to wake up in the middle of the night and watch television without my glasses, and, best of all, I can drive without glasses or contacts.

I would recommend Dr. Robert Maloney to anyone!"
